About Coach Freeman
Dan Freeman began his professional coaching career in 2001 as a basketball coach and counselor at Camp Lakota in Wurtsboro, NY. He went on to lead the basketball program at Lawrence Woodmere academy during the summer of 2010 and has since continued to advance his training skill-set to influence players of various ages. He has been a leading basketball coach in the Roslyn School District since 2009 and has extensive experience elevating talent at both the Junior Varsity and Varsity levels in Middle School and High School.
Additionally, as the head coach for Long Island Lightning since 2014, Coach Freeman has trained and instructed several high performing teams at the 10u, 12u, 15u, and 16u levels. These teams have competed in the Island Garden Super League as well as local tournaments affiliated with the AAU season. Coach Freeman’s knowledge, experience, and natural born leadership ability enable his players to thrive both on and off the court. |
