In addition to coaching, Dan Freeman is a High School Special Education Teacher in the Roslyn School District. His incomparable work ethic is only exceeded by his commitment to provide exceptional training to players in an effort to foster their athletic talent.
He possesses a keen ability to mentor young athletes, instilling confidence and enabling them to reach their goals. Dan believes in the importance of training and preparation as a means to achieve individual and team success and he actively communicates with parents and guardians of each individual player to ensure alignment with these core values.
As the current Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach and the Head Varsity Baseball Coach for Roslyn High School, Dan is experienced in managing day-to-day team operations such as: practice planning, scouting, leading drills, and private player training.
